The Obama Portraits
Remember toward the end of President Obama’s second term, when the official President and First Lady portraits were unveiled? They both broke from tradition by design, and introduced artistic flares in their compositions. A main goal was to allow people viewing them to feel that they too, despite being different, can achieve greatness. The portraits were on display in Atlanta at the High Museum of Art, and it was an honor and pleasure to view them in person.
The museum highlighted some symbolism in President Obama’s portrait.
