What’s unique about this set up, apart from being clever, is that its still T-shirt weather in October. Anyway, I loved this. They had orange lighting in the bonfire at night.

Gibbs Gardens includes acres and acres of woods and flowers. Trails take us by a japanese garden with buddha statues and such, and a Monet-like lily pond, for starters. It is closed now, but I am told it opens sometime in February when about 20,000 daffodils bloom. Can’t wait to see it in the Spring. […]

So this was a fun, neighborly event. The subdivision has a pool, and on the day before its closed for the season, resident dogs are invited for a swim. It was a good day.
